In 2018, I was hired to launch a new social emotional learning program called TRAC at an elementary school in San Diego.

 Together with my partner, we built the framework and curriculum from scratch. Within three years, TRAC was adopted by the district and rolled out to 9 elementary schools teaching  social emotional skills tO over 5k students. 

TRAC stands for Teambuilding, Regulation, Awareness, and Community, and is based on CASEL’s 5 core SEL competencies. 

Our program is designed to give every student the skills they need to improve their self-awareness, increase self-esteem, regulate emotions, improve social skills, and cultivate empathy. Our ultimate goal is to create a safe, positive learning environment where students feel valued and connected.
